Potato pies in a pan: a step by step recipe


  • two kilograms of potatoes;
  • two eggs;
  • a kilogram of white cabbage;
  • about two hundred and fifty grams of flour;
  • three hundred grams of carrots;
  • three hundred grams of onion;
  • fifty grams of tomato paste;
  • vegetable oil;
  • two bay leaves;
  • pepper;
  • salt.


  1. First, peel and rinse the potatoes well. Next, cut it into slices and cook. While the potatoes are being cooked, we begin to make the filling.
  2. Wash and chop the cabbage. Then we spread it on a well-heated frying pan with oil and lightly fry. After that we transfer it to the cauldron.
  3. Rub the carrots on a coarse grater, chop the onion. All this is also added to the cauldron. Sprinkle with vegetable oil, salt, pepper, put bay leaf, tomato paste, add a little water. Stir and simmer over low heat, stirring occasionally. You can cover the cauldron and stew vegetables for 30 minutes.
  4. Just during this time you have to cook potatoes. We drain a little liquid from it, pass through a meat grinder. You should not use a blender in this situation, as the potatoes will be sticky, tasteless.
  5. We take the chicken eggs and separate the yolk from the protein. First add the yolk to the potatoes, mix. Then whisk the whites a little (you can beat them lightly with a fork). Also add them to the potatoes. Mix everything well, salt to taste.

  • kilogram of potatoes;

  • four hundred grams of sauerkraut;
  • one hundred grams of carrots;

  • salt and pepper, spices;
  • sugar;
  • vegetable oil.


  1. Peel, cut and boil the potatoes for twenty minutes. As soon as the potatoes are boiled, drain the water and push until mashed. Leave for a while to cool.
  2. After that we drive in one egg, add the flour, salt and knead the elastic dough.
  3. We clean the onion, finely chop.

  8. Next, from the prepared dough we form pies, put the cooled filling in the middle, fasten along the edges and fry in a well-heated pan until a golden crust appears.

With cabbage and chicken

  • White cabbage;

  • six potatoes;

  • a glass of milk;
  • half a glass of water;
