Without sterilization

To prepare compote according to this recipe, you will need:

  • 1 liter of sloe berries;
  • 1.5 cups granulated sugar.

Sort the fruits and rinse thoroughly. Better if they are a little immature. Pour the berries into a clean three-liter jar, filling it no more than a third. Boil water in a teapot and pour thorns with it, leaving it to infuse for 15 minutes. Then pour the water into a saucepan, add sugar and boil the syrup. The resulting syrup is poured over the fruits and immediately rolled up.

With bones

A drink is prepared from the following components:

  • 850 g of thorns;
  • 400 g granulated sugar;
  • 1.2 liters of clean water.
